Colourpop
Lippie Stix
Lumiere and LBB
These two colors are part of the Matte family of Colourpop Lippie Stix. The other finishes are Satin/Pearlized, Glossy, and Hyper Glossy.
I follow @dupethat in Instagram and first introduced into these uniquely
designed lipsticks. At first you would think of them as thick lip
pencils, but they are actually lipsticks in thinner stick bullets. It
is easier to apply as it sits perfectly on the lip line.
Lumiere is a color that is mauvey pink. At first I thought this could be an MLBB (my lips but better) shade for me, but sadly, it is darker and tends to be a bit grayish on my lips. I think this would sit better on pink skin undertone.
LBB is a dupe for Melt Darkroom. I so wanted that dark vampy lipstick but it is too expensive, and it is so hard to find someone to carries it. Anyway, @dupethat recommended that this is a good dupe and is much easier to apply as the Melt Darkroom tends to drag and dries the lips.
These colors I chose are matte, but as you can see on the photo below, they still have a certain sheen to them.
My Thoughts:
*Love the slim lipstick bullet. It makes application easier and more precise.
*Not completely matte as I am used to, but this makes the lipstick non-drying on the lips.
*Loooooove the LBB shade. It stains so be careful with application if you are trying to overdraw your lips. What I do is apply thickly and blot with tissue paper. This instantly removes excess product and slightly mattifies the lipstick. I even wear this as a lip stain.
*Lumiere makes my lips darker so I usually wear a warmer tone lip liner.
*Only available on online stores and mostly for preorder in the range of Php330 - Php380.
*I would certainly repurchase for other shades.
Thank you for reading.
God bless. (^_~)
