Lime Crime Lipstick (Geradium and Poisonberry)

This would be my first lippy splurge, and I am excited to blog about this, but had to contain myself so I could test them out.

The lipstick packaging is pretty with unicorn and purple-pink theme.  It is labeled here on the box "Lime Crime OPAQUE Lipstick."

More photos of the box that is cute with silver unicorn.

The inside of the box has lime green color that may be in reference to the brand name.

The lipstick's net weight is 3.5 g/0.12 oz.  It also says on this side of the box that this product is "Vegan" and "Not Tested on Animals."

Ingredients:
Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, diisostearyl malate, Euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, trioctyldodecyl citrate, castor isostearate succinate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, octyldodecanol, ozokerite, bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate02, polyethylene, micro-crystalline wax, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, capryl glycol, ethyhexyl-mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, yellow #5 lake, red #7 lake, D & C red #6 blue #1 lake, yellow #6 lake.

Scored these two on sale by Makeup Hub (makeuphub.com.ph) for 30% off with minimum purchase of Php1000.

I picked the shades Poisonberry and Geradium.

I only wanted to buy Geradium because of it's perfect mix of pink and coral.  This is one of the newer shades they released.  This would be suitable and more wearable for regular-day use.

In my head really I was thinking this is my sweet girl shade and maybe would go well with smokey eyes.

But since the promo on Makeup Hub's website indicates total of Php1000 and up, I picked out another shade that is Poisonberry.  Poisonberry is this gorgeous dark purple berry color.

In my head again, I plan this to be my bad-girl go-to lipstick or when there are days my mood could really use a don't-mess-with-me-coz-imma-kick-your-ass look (which is really my commute look).  Turns out, I would love Poisonberry more than I think would love Geradium.  This leaves a berry stain on my lips which is the shade usually rock.  I am rarely a red lips girl.

Lime Crime lipstick is indeed opaque and swatches stay true as it appears on the lipstick bullet.

Poisonberry swatch on the left and Geradium on the right.

Lime Crime lipsticks have a vanilla scent to it that is not overpowering.

I found the Poisonberry developed moisture on the lipstick bullet.  Look at the droplets that may look like glitters.

I love these Lime Crime lipsticks but found them very soft and so I am not careful with application.  Look at my Geradium. I think I hurt it, tsk tsk tsk.  I nicked it on the side of the tube while trying it out on my lips.

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of these Lime Crime lipsticks.  Next on my list would be the Lime Crime Velvetines.  I would have to save up again on that.  Not a priority on these -ber months.  How I wish someone would give me the Suedeberry! ;)

Here is shade guide I found from Lime Crime's website.

Nota Bene:  This is a non-sponsored post, and I purchased the product for personal review.

Thank you for reading.

God bless. (^_~)
