Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Clear Stick
BB creams are everywhere nowadays and very popular. For those who does not know yet, BB cream stands for Blemish Balm cream. It is a makeup in the likes of foundation with lots of added benefit to the skin. So in a nutshell, it is a marriage of makeup and skin care.
This is a quick review of Maybelline BB stick.
I bought this BB Stick because of its claims as suitable for oily skin. I have oily skin...sometimes, even very oily.
This BB stick is part of the Maybelline Clear Smooth line. The ingredient list is on the plastic film that wraps around the stick. I tossed it out already. I wish it was written in the stick packaging. It has SPF21 PA+++.
I picked up the shade Radiance. If I can remember correctly, I think this is the only available shade for the BB stick. It can be a little darker for my skin. Nothing that blending can remedy. Below is a photo of what I have left. I barely use this BB stick.
As much as possible, I fully retract the BB stick because I always tend to nick it with the lid. I don't like seeing nicks in my stuff. When I do get nicks, I use tissue to prettify the product again. :)
My honest opinion is that I do not like this product. It says so that it is for oily skin, but my skin tends to get oilier every time I use this. It can get cakey on me too. It also highlights dry skin patches on my face. Better exfoliate first before wearing this BB stick.
I tried giving this product many chances, but it fails every time. I guess the formula of this BB stick just does not work for me. I have been a Maybelline BB cream user, and I would have to stick to that one. This BB Stick is not for me.
Nota Bene: This is a non-sponsored post, and I purchased the product for personal review.
Happy November!!!
Thank you for reading.
God Bless. (^_~)
