Yongnuo RC-6 for Canon

RC-6 for Canon

This is a DSLR remote for the Canon EOS line.  Okay, in a nutshell, this is a cheaper alternative to the original Canon infrared remote.  Yep, maybe we can call it a China-kind-of-clone.  It is small and easily misplaced so I would rather buy a cheaper generic one that works the same as the original.  I actually bought this not sure if it will actually work on my EOS-M, and when it did, I was so thrilled.

How it works:
* First, make sure you set your camera's Shooting Setting to "Self-timer/Remote Control."
* Just like in TV remotes, point the remote to the infrared panel of your EOS camera (usually always in the front).  It has up to 5 meter range.
* On the back of the remote, there is a slide mechanism in which there is an option for 2-second delay or instant release.

It comes in a small box that does not have much info.

My Thoughts:
* Awesome as it works well.  Great tool if you, the photographer, want to be in a group shot.  Yep, it is also best for selfie.
* So small it can be easily hidden on your palm.
* For Php250, it has no warranty, but still one of the cheapest RC-6 clone out there.

Where to buy?:  Bought mine at Henry's Professional, Hidalgo Street, Quiapo

Thank you for reading.

God bless. (^_~)
